 | Loan Officer-Houston (SW )
A Houston area credit union is seeking an experienced Loan Officer with 3-5 years experience for their main branch located in West Houston. This person must have prior experience with mortgage lending and business loans. Strong communication skills are a must.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Analyze current financial position of members to determine the degree of risk involved in extending credit or lending money.
- Take, process and make decisions to approve, deny or negotiate loan requests.
- Book, disburse and complete documentation for loans.
- Open,close and update member accounts.
- Provide excellent customer service to members.
- Research and answer general questions on loan accounts.
- Cross sell credit union products and services.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must have 3-5 years of consumer lending experience to include mortgage and business lending
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, customer service skills, strong computer skills, self motivated and have the ability to cross-sell credit union product and services.
