Staff Auditor - Dallas / Fort Worth
STAFF ANALYST
OCCUPATIONAL SUMMARY
Responsible for the timely completion of audit procedures as assigned by the Supervisory Auditor or Senior Analyst with credit unions across the state of Texas and surrounding areas.
Duties include preparing formal audit reports and interacting with department heads regarding audit finding. The successful candidate must demonstrate an in-depth understanding of accounting/auditing principles.
Essential RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform audit procedures in an accurate and timely manner.
- Evaluate results of tests to determine compliance with accounting procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Review loan portfolio to determine compliance with state and federal regulations, bylaws and credit union policy.
- Communicate with client regarding progress and problems during the fieldwork.
- Prepare written report detailing the findings of the audit work.
- Conduct exit meetings with Audit/Supervisory Committee and/or Board of Directors.
- Assist Vice President and/or Office Supervisor with administrative tasks such as bank reconciliations, member account verifications.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s Degree is required.
- Experience is a credit union or bank is strongly preferred.
- Ability to travel 70 - 80 % of the time.
Salary range: $30,000 - $36, 000
